  Don't mean to rain on the parade, but won't that rock move, as the sand under it is moved by the tides ? I would think it would be hard to predict where the rock would end up on the beach

  Even if the sea level rises, you only lose NYC... not a big loss, I think personally

    Sea levels have not risen, and actually some ice bergs and glaciers are increasing in size, also yes NYC and California are cesspools
