FSSAI license or FSSAI registration: FSSAI stands for Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, which is an autonomous body set up under the Government of India’s Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. A 14-digit license number is issued by the Food Authority of India to food business operators who comply with the rules and regulations under the FSS Act, 2006.

This FSSAI License number, along with the FSSAI Logo, must be printed on food items. Before starting any food company, an FSSAI license or FSSAI registration is mandatory. Image Image
