I don’t believe that UGA will continue the series if Georgia Tech falls outside the “Power 2”. I am expecting GT to either stay in the depleted ACC, or in the case of a total collapse GT will likely move to the Big 12.

The rivalry is important to older fans/alumni, but has slowly lost its prominence over the past 2 decades. (Compared to what it once was)

I believe that UGA will likely discontinue the series within 5-10 years of the ACC collapsing. Especially, if GT falls outside of a Power Conference.
