What players would’ve had a legendary career if they didn’t suffer a major injury / deal with multiple injuries over their career?

The big names that come to mind for me are Andrew Luck, Luke Kuechly, and Todd Gurley. Those guys were so fun to watch in their prime and it’s legitimately sad we didn’t get to see them finish out their careers.

Honorable mentions for Leighton Vander Esch and Sam Bradford. I’m not sure those guys would have attained “legend” status but they could’ve had great, long careers if not for persistent injuries. Who else comes to mind?
