Prob well behind the curve here (as usual lol), but just finished watching Chernobyl. Brilliant. Revealing. Illuminating. Vindicating [of the market anarchist's understanding of the state]

Don't know who produced the show -- highly doubt they have a market anarchist perspective of the state or the meta-Austrian understanding of the market and capitalism, but they sure did a bang up job demonstrating the dark nature of the state

And btw, even though the Soviets were ideologically driven, there are very little differences between the soviet state and every other non-commie-ideological state. The political process is one thing and the market process is another -- where the incentives that drive decision making are nowhere near each other

This meta-lesson is reinforced all throughout the show even if the show doesn't realize it
