When it comes to uighurs and Xinjiang, one of the most common counters I hear to recognizing what is going on over there is.... "but America"..... It is annoying. Do people realize that two wrongs do not make a right. Just because America messed up Yemen does not mean what China is doing is justified, and no I am not advocating for intervention.... I'm advocating for people to recognize the wrong going on over there.
People seem to think that we have to only focus on America.... great we need America to fix its problems, but do people not realize not everyone is American. I have family in China and in laws that are uyghurs. Why should I not have a concern for what is going on in Xinjiang?
