    You can boil a tea pot full of water and pour the boiling water all over the mound. I did that one time and it worked.

    this is kind of a natural remedy otherwise I would just look up "natural ways to get rid of ants"

    like an article came up suggesting:

    ...Like theoretically it makes some sense, but then there's factors like how loose the soil is, if the gas can just escape etc...

    Save yourself the headache and just buy the cheap ant poison from a supermarket. It works. I've gotten rid of ants in my previous apartment block, that had infested the whole building.

    Just leaving the poison in my flat, killed ALL of them. Supposedly they carry it back to their homes
