Windmills should be made from iron sourced from the blood of our enemies.

Wood will work too.... and its renewable. Throw in old alternators and lead acid batteries from cars. 2 birds one stone - recycle old cars + get free energy

Every house should produce some level of power. That is the safest way to run a society. I would like every house to have solar and wind and coal sources of energy where appropriate

Amen ! I am planning to sell my place in the city and move to rural. Looking at old school tech in insulation, solar water heaters etc to break free from 'the man'

If it was made out of material like wood and old car alternators, it would work in rural communities as a small scale power generator. Throw in cheap old Lead Acid car batteries, of which there are millions, and voila ! Cheap, clean renewable energy without breaking the bank, or relying on big govt/big corpo
Humans have had windmills ever since agriculture was invented

300 tons of ore to make 26 tons of steel is B.S. Yield amounts vary but it is still pretty close to a 1 to 1 conversion, no where near the 11 to 1 conversion they talk about in the meme.
I think it is safe to assume that the rest of the numbers as well as the conclusion are B.S.
Wind power as a concept is fascinating. Wind power in our society is a joke. Obviously made up numbers don't help any one.

Same with solar heaters. Just copper tubes in a double glazed box... that's it. No fancy schmanzy solar panels made in China, or slave minerals from Africa
They work even in deeply snowed regions, producing water at 120 Farenheit... google it ! Circulate that through your house, and that's free heat...
You don't hear Big Green talk about these easy DIY solutions that cut your energy bill for hardly anything other than basic materials and elbow grease.

Slightly related, but I feel the same way about pot legalization. It will never be OK to grow it in your back yard and sell it to your neighbors. It has to make its way through all of the mega corporations first that change it from a medicinal plant to a hardcore drug.
