Although I agree that the govt's likely do this, there is no proof the actual events listed are fake.
For e.g. Charlie Hebdo... it seems much more plausible that lunatic Allahu Akbars decide to mow down the Mohammed cartoonists...
Seems unlikely that the FEDs either convinced Charlie Hebdo journalists to make such a cartoon, or have the resources to organize the attack in such a short time. FEDs are not known for efficiency or speed...

Yep, get 'em scared and then show them the way out of the situation. People are pretty controllable if they think they're making sensible judgements
