If so, do you think the Big East would also re-instate football? They would have eight football teams in this scenario - four from the ACC, UConn, and three current FCS teams (Butler, Georgetown, and Villanova).
Obviously, football didn’t work out for them in the past. However, these would all be private, basketball-first schools with the football side acting more as a mid-major.
