Die hard Sooners fan here. I already miss the Big 12. It’s one thing to schedule Bama or UGA out of conference, but OU playing them in a round Robin style has no excitement for me. I miss the anxiety of playing Iowa State, KSU series going back and forth, our post season dependent on beating Okie State while trying not to stumble against a resurgent Kansas. Hell, I’m gonna miss rooting FOR my rivals to win their other games so the Conference game gets extra hate. Bama, UGA, Auburn and LSU are nice, but Saturdays won’t feel the same. I truly don’t feel like OU belongs in the SEC. Texas? Sure, but I would prefer if OU stayed and Red River was a non conference game. Rant over.
