I keep seeing people, some even on here, saying that socialism isn't about redistributing wealth but rather is about redistributing the economy. I feel like people who unironically say this seem to think wealth is just trillions of dollars stored up in Bank of America accounts and in gold bullion sitting in safes behind Mark Zuckerberg's desk in San Jose.

Economics 101 lesson: the house or apartment you live in, the car you drive, the starbucks you go to each morning, the skyscraper with the businesses that run the distribution networks that stock your local Walmart are the economy and they are wealth.
