  so it's basically the elite pitting one group against each other instead of against them

  this is also done with other things like enviromentalism: corporations pollute, then activists agitate for more controlling measures against the corps, and the corps own the government or it's the same people so they are just gaining more control for themselves

  far left is just ignorant about who they're working for (or they are aware of what they're doing, deliberately)
