I’m curious what non-fans think, because the Bears fanbase has turned into cultists with us either worshipping Caleb Williams or Justin Fields, leaving us unable to form a reasonable view of the other. (Williams cultist here)
From my perspective, there are 5-6 (depending on Spencer Rattler impressing at the combine, like he did at the Señor Bowl) QBs who are going to be drafted in the top 2 rounds, plus Kirk Cousins and Russell Wilson will be available in FA, so I’m having trouble seeing that guaranteed 2nd round pick so many other Bears fans see.
Sam Darnold was traded for a 2nd & 4th, which many fans have held onto as proof Fields will go for the same, but Darnold showed a hell of a lot more as a passer, he just had a few shitty passes a game. Plus, Fields can’t even throw a slant pass
