Who was/is a superstar for your team that fans seem to either absolutely hate or the opinions are super mixed on?
Someone that 20 years post-playing career might be inducted into at least your team HOF (so no Aaron Hernandez types) but one that fans in private usually say “fuck that dude” to each other.
For the Giants, probably Tiki or Shockey - both great Giants (Tiki a fringe HoF guy, Shockey in the hall of good), completely insufferable people who couldn’t help but say every possible thing that came to mind.
