CeeDee Lamb who ended second in the NFL in receiving yards, managed to draw DPI (Defensive Pass Interference) four times for 88 yards, the 10th highest in the league. Tyreek Hill only drew two for 15 yards. This difference in DPI was enough to move Lamb into first place in receiving + DPI yards.

Just for fun, I’ve adjusted the receiving leaders to include DPI yards (reported by Sports Info Solutions). CeeDee Lamb becomes the leader in Rec+DPI Yds. Here is the new top ten. The arrow to the left represents the movement in ranking with DPI Yds included the number inside the arrow shows the number of spots moved up or down.

Amari Cooper moves way up from 10th to 5th, as 10% of his combined yards came from 143 DPI yards earned (3rd highest in the league). Mike Evans drops out of the top 10, getting bumped by Ja’Marr Chase who got in with help from 78 DPI yds earned.
