    I've thought that this should be more of a theme in film -- taking characters from different films and then just reimagining them in new, equally strange and implausible settings.

    Deepfake fanfiction is gonna be a thing as algorithms improve and GPUs get stronger. We already have fake face generation, animation, voices... Nothing stopping fans from making their own movies.
