My favorite interaction as an Alabama fan was every time LSU played in Tuscaloosa, there were two tailgates set up next to us with giant cauldrons of gumbo and they were handing out bowls to whoever wanted them. It was a cool moment because no matter what side you were rooting for, everyone stopped in, grabbed a plate and shot the shit for a while (I saw someone in an Arkansas polo over there one year). A very awesome “bigger than sports” moment every year.
