I know it’s not very likely but it is possible for Utah, Texas Tech and Kansas to all go undefeated in conference play in next years B12. There are probably some other scenarios out there where this is possible, this is just the first one that I found. If conferences get bigger than 16 teams and without divisions this is something that we could eventually see happen. I would hope in this scenario all 3 teams would make the playoffs but someone would get left out of the conference championship game.
Do you think something like this could push conference to go back to divisions if they keep growing?
