I have watched some RT videos and it is 100% government funded propaganda for the purpose if shaping narrative. Same as CCTV for China.
I would be OK with them warning users before clicking it as long as they warn users before clicking other government funded propaganda networks like CNN, newyorktimes, MSNBC ect.

I agree. At this point near everyone is fucking up by focusing on one enemy and not the set of enemies. Anything foreign, genetically or ideologically/culturally, is an enemy. We do not have to harm them but we cannot let them harm us. Why are we allowing NYT, CNN, MSNBC, BBC, etc. to get past without the same warning or censorship? Maybe censor everything but the WSJ and CNBC, which seem like decent enough channels.

Having news outlets ban advertisements like in the old days would make it to hard for a globalist organization to make a profit and force local news to be more local focused
I'm not sure how that would work in the online era though.
