Soulyezer@lemmy.world 9 months agoIt’s crazy that you haven’t gotten tired of the gameplay before reaching 800 hours, if I don’t like how a game plays I usually drop it after not even 10 hours. Or at worst after reaching max level.

don’t get me wrong the gameplay of ff14 is great, especially the slower, more focuesd combat system. I was getting tired of those stretched out story sequences and text passages where you really listened to npc after npc without any real gameplay in between besides some traveling from a to b and then rinse and repeat.
