Arrakis@lemmy.world 9 months agoI have to travel a lot for my job. Every. Single. Time. I’ve had the misfortune of needing to go to the States, my luggage has been stolen from in transit. Once it was dirty underwear, which is the most horrifying. Nigeria? Fine. Laos? Grand. Cambodia? No bother.
America? Nah mate, this is a communist country apparently, your property is our property!
Fuck the TSA, and fuck the complacency of the lazy ass populace who allow this corruption to run rampant, while still praising how great their freedumbs are.

Lol damn you have the shittiest luck ever. I hate the TSA like everyone else; the TSA pre check is extortion & that are just security theater. Like what have they ever prevented? All that being said, I fly around 2 times a year on average in America and have never had anything stolen from the TSA. It may be worth noting I always carry on and never check my bags in because I’ve heard too many horror stories of luggage being lost / arriving late.
