That's true, without first hand footage, one can only take the Israeli govt's word.
Who do you believe ? That the palestinians accidentally shot her while she was embedded with Israeli troops, or that Israel was trying to make a PR disaster by killing an unarmed journalist. For now I take Israel's word. Previous such 'scandals' from the Palestinian side, such as the killing of a father and son during a firefight, the little blond palestinian girl fighting to release her father etc turned out to be anti-Israel hoaxes.
I am no fan of Israel govt, or really any country's govt - they all are filled with power hungry politicians. But, I try to look as objectively as I can before believing one side

I don't believe she was embedded with Israelis
Where do you get that?

Ok, so I went and read Al Jazeera, which I would assume would give the most biased POV from the Palestinian side: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/5/12/funeral-service-shireen-abu-akleh-set-start-ramallah
She was standing somewhere with 3 other journalists and another journalist got hit by a bullet as well. They all seem to be palestinians, and claim that Israelis shot them directly and there was no Palestinian fighter nearby.
If what they say is true, its possible it was a rogue Israeli soldier or a misidentification. Its hard to believe that the govt would want to murder journalists and create a PR disaster for no reason. Of course the journalists could also be lying. The 4th journalist hasn't spoken, but other 3 called Israel 'occupiers', so there is bias.
No one can say definitely what happened

I see you are pro-Israeli and I do not want to turn this into some ugly discussion. That is all fine. I want to only say that I am very glad that you went the extra distance to find a description of the events - I appreciate you clarifying this, and returning to deliver your opinion so well.

She wasn't ? Sorry. I did not read too much about it and just made assumptions. Let me read up.
