I also ended up on default 12.04 with unity after a half year or so because kde at the time had too many quirky for me. I’ve honestly been wanting to give it another go since plasma 5 came out, but haven’t gotten around to it.

I miss the ability to resize icons and the interactive wallpapers, especially the mandelbrot one.

I didn’t even know interactive wallpapers were a thing, that sounds so cool! I’m the kind of boring person who keeps almost every default unless it bothers me, even the wallpaper 😅
