  Curious what your beef with her is. From talking to most people on the street, most can’t articulate what the issue actually is and alot of the hate is a direct result of media propaganda against her.

    Watching her be a rep for Seattle it became clear she's about herself and her party above all else. She's a socialist version of trump, which is the last thing we need on the left.

      Do you want to talk about policy? She has done more for the working class in Seattle than any other city council member, in my lifetime for sure.

      • First major city to get $15 an hour, with built in increases now sitting at $18.69.
      • Landmark tenant bill of rights, renters have more protection than anywhere in the state.
      • The Amazon tax that goes towards affordable housing, keeping people in the city that are being displaced by ludicrous tech money.
      • She has been out in support of local unions on the picket lines throughout her career, something no other politician does.
      • Kept local liberals and so called “progressives” honest about what they actually support by forcing votes on working class issues. Once she is gone we are gonna be back to lip service.

      I could keep going but I have either made my point or this conversation is a waste of time. If you think she is Trump like, that is because of the media you consume.

        • ohhhOoooohhhh 18.69 dollars an hour in Seattle? The place where half burned down homes cost more than most can pay? And you want to say it’ll be lip service after shes gone?

        -except when it comes to dealing with exorbitant and worsening rent payments, lack of support for shitty landlords who don’t fix any issues and little support for those who exercise what rights they do have to rectify it. A polished ball of shit is still a ball of shit.

        • Explain to me how the tax on Amazon has actually done anything other than line the pockets of people like Marc Dones who grifted everyone. Last I checked they’re still playing whack a mole with tent cities.

        • She has also done heinous shit like give put personal addresses of colleagues out of some childish notion she’s ‘doing the right thing’ but when it happens to her that’s just No good I’d say this hypocrisy and her other bullshit cancels out anything she’s done by standing with people she actually has no skin in the game with.

        -Would be nice if she kept herself honest. Sure she pushed a tax on Amazon but couldn’t do it Ethically which seems to be her sshtick.

        All she is, is lipservice and “my way fuck the consequences.”
