@realcaseyrollins@thelemmy.club Looking back on this, it's a little wild how this all transpired. #ESPN replaced #RachelNichols, a white woman who at the time was viewed as the if not one of the most notable and valuable #NBA reports and personalities, with #MariaTaylor, a black woman with less experience, after #NYT was prepping a piece about a lack of diversity at #ESPN. Nichols complained and got fired for it. Mary wept and wept and left for #NBCSports.

Years later, nobody cares.
