Why on earth isn’t that the default?
Because it’s a reddit app retrofitted to work for lemmy, and because some people want to click anywhere on a post and be brought to it instead of a user’s profile or the community it was posted in.

deweydecibel@lemmy.world 1 year agoYou mean Sync doesn’t let you block users from the post itself? The default mobile UI does that. It’s there on comments too.

On the post click the 3 dots and next to users name there are another 3 dots that will take you the user options, where you can block the use.
