  Especially the “abandoned communities section”

  We do understand that communities can shrink over time or that community moderators can face difficulties finding time to moderate. Any users that would like to take over stewardship of a dormant community are free to post to lemmy.world/c/support.

  I moderate !fedigrow@lemm.ee where we try to make communities and Lemmy grow as a platform, and one improvement we see is locking down inactive communities and redirect to active alternatives, hence the regular threads on !newcommunities@lemmy.world
