I think a compelling statement should be made with citations if it’s not a well known fact, especially when provided to a general community.
I don’t care enough about niche old game drama to chase down the facts myself.

The person gave you a percentage range of the increase and that it applies to different currencies. You have been given the opportunity to find more info if that’s insufficient.
