    I agree. Democracy was always designed to be exploited by the ruthless. Most people do not care about politics.

      I fully agree with you. I think this is an extension of "Power corrupts". The more we centralize power, the worse it gets.

        I prefer "power reveals."

        A good person uses it for good ends.

        A bad person uses it to increase their own power.
