If you only knew how much the lefty average city dwelling Germans hated Merkel. She was waaaaayyy too right wing for them.
I love those people as my friends, but I stopped communicating with them because there is no way to reconcile their image of the world with reality.
They think Greta Thunberg is a champion to save the earth and Americans were lambs to the slaughter for electing Trump....

Well those people had kids. Those kids are now teens. These teens as brainwashed as American teens.
They think humans are a cancer on the planet, that being LGBTQABCD is cool. Everyone is a unique snowflake victim. Bla di bla. Same broken record.

Germany got screwed by the democracy wars. True, I'm not a big fan of National Socialism, but the Nazis were right about diversity sucking and the need for ethno-nationalism. I don't think there were any good guys in the wars, just one viral idea (equality) slowly eating up humanity and the world. When I visited, the people were lovely, but deeply hurt. They need an option from the Right other than Merkel (a Bush II level con job) and warmed-over neo-Nazism (bleh).
