cmnybo@discuss.tchncs.de 3 months agoCheck if it has a bridge mode. That will bypass the routing function and make it operate as a basic modem. Then you can connect your own router to it. If it doesn’t, you can still enable the DMZ function, turn off the WiFi and connect your own router, but it will slightly increase latency.

It has no bridge mode. It has a DMZ function, but it is not reliable. I just use it as a router and dhcp server. I use my own access points for wifi. Unless I use a VPN they can see all my traffic anyway so I’m not really losing any privacy by using their router.
