The $Discord tag doesn’t really serve a purpose here, but if you add the tag to your reddit post, a discord bot will automatically post your sotd comment to the sotd channel on discord.

Yeah, what @sahenders@sub.wetshaving.social said. I’m too lazy to remove it when pasting into Lemmy. Once AA is over I’ll probably stop using that tag because I don’t post on reddit very often outside of these “events”.
