the only positive I can think of is being able to see their view to know what the other side is thinking
it might be valuable for us to have discussions of their posts of instances that block us, as long as it is marked out that our comments will not reach them
or for example a lemmy.ml tech community might post interesting things that would come up in a feed, that we would repost as standalone posts on wolfballs for our own open discussion

I can see some use cases there. We would need UI that tells users the community is blocking us though and I font want their votes that we can't participate in fucking up our front page algorithms.

For that I think we should just write a bot that repost from certain communities.
I can probably do that in a day.

that would work. Repost maybe from certain communities like the linux one. In to its own separate lemmy mirror community (not the wolfballls linux). Or do you think they should be combined? I think it might be good to be separate to prevent duplicates and junk posts getting on to the main linux community.
