  Base load isn’t going away any time soon, nuclear power is proven safe and clean, dealing with the waste is a solved problem.

      Compared to fossil powerplants it absolutely is.

      They let out a shit ton more radioactive waste than nuclear powerplants.

      Not to mention that they barely contribute to global warming.
