do the people who’re saying shit like “well do you not drive cars either because the auto industry is unethical” seriously not realize that contributing to free and open source software is involving yourself in a COMMUNITY? like that i’m warning people to steer clear of a shitty social space that’s been known to be hostile to our kind in the past??? i’m not just doing this for ragebait engagement farming lmao

Yes because it’s literally impossible to not use some services or products because you don’t want to support their makers, because for some reason that means you can’t use anything else either.
