gcgallant@sub.wetshaving.social 3 months agoI’ve been aware of the hobby for a very long time. My first serious bout of straight razor shaving was 10-12 years ago, and I used to refer to the Badger & Blade people as ” those crazy razor guys .“ I never really thought I would become one :)

That’s great. I was at a large company when that movie came out and a bunch of GenXers took up straights at that time. I guess the movie might have had an influence. I’ve always been enamored with the elegance of straights. I feel like I’ve finally cracked the code with them. As an aside, you posted that you have 430ish straight shaves. I think you’re off by about 100. I’m currently at 541, and you are almost always a little ahead of me.
