Comment on MP pledges to push for Crooked House law

  I’m assuming the point of it would be to make this kind of thing explicitly illegal instead of relying on arson/planning laws.

  That should make it easier to prosecute those doing this kind of thing.

    More LAW only ever means more Lawfare against the people as a whole. Criminals don’t give a shit and as for “make(ing) this kind of thing explicitly illegal” that’s just as vague as the new law would be. The property could have been sold with a covenant and still have accidentally been burnt down with by the owners employing an Arson(ist).
