fmstrat@lemmy.nowsci.com 6 months agoGood choice, and as hard as it is, trust the boring “drop caffiene” and bedtime advice. After a few weeks your body will acclimate to the timing, too. Honestly though, the best thing for me is a long weekend backpacking trip. After a day or so of strenuous hiking, and a terrible first night sleep, it’s like your body sees the sun set and is like “I’m done”. Can really reset your clock.

Thanks! Definitely going to ween myself off coffee this summer. Finishing up an edit gig now and it’s all that keeps me cranking
