These events look set to polarize Canada to breaking point, and refuel seperatist movements. Trudeau is doing ladting, if not permanent, damage to Canada.
Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver cannot compel the Prairies, Nova Scotia, or even lefty Québec to accept their woke shit.

An objective outsider who knows history can see who the bad guys in this story are.
I think this will rather unify the country, because the leftists are destroying their credibility. The overton window is moving back to the right, i.e. center. The pendulum swung too far left.

History repeating itself. Frighten the population and grab power. The enemy is not Trudeau. Its the fear in the heart of your neighbor. The only way out is to calmly communicate and reassure others.
That's the genius of the Convoy. By setting up playgrounds, parties and saunas, they are showing the world, its ok. Its making the govt look like insane fools.
The longer they stay, the more they normalize sanity and take back control.
