felykiosa@sh.itjust.works 6 months agoWell for example I use sync for lemmy in free version and I don’t have any ads . but I can t use sync ultra because that an in app paid option , and since I don’t have the google services on my phone that don’t work.

Huh, never heard of Sync… But interesting that thus disables ads in these apps.

Sync was a popular 3rd app for reddit and I used it until they block it after that I came from reddit to lemmy when there was only jerboa . When sync for lemmy came out I re switched to it because I was more familiar with the ui .
