    I use that as well. I doubt they proxy but I am not sure.

    If you use a VPN of course, you are good.

    To my understanding some prefer MPV because it’s just a video player and that is it. I prefer it for phone use.

    VLC I think is way too feature for a video player. I use that on my laptop.
