I just pay for a dedicated server because I like hosting stuff so that's more of a hobby. Hosting lemmy on that server doesn't cost me more.

Is it ok to share with us the size of your instance and your server resources?

In fact I got a dedicated server because I wanted to do virtualization for more flexibility, otherwise a VPS would have been perfect.
I am alone on my lemmy instance, don't have many friends into this kind of application they are more into the other stuff I host: matrix, nextcloud, mumble, ...
Sharing my server resources would not be of any use since they are way overkill for what I'm doing :)
