Fleppensteijn@feddit.nl 10 months agoI disagree. There are large groups of (lower class) people who consume mostly American media, e.g. through Facebook and it does have an effect. American politics are copied in Europe.

Also the largest economies tend to impact multiple countries when they take a dip. The shutdown of manufacturing in China in 2020 had global impact.
