  Why is it tasteless? Is it the depiction of war and unrest or is it the style. Honest question, I’m not in the loop about the movie.

        It has to do with the rise in attacks on people of color and LGBTQ people, and the rise in attempts at legislation to turn back the clock on previously won civil liberties.
