Comment on We are not "Right Wing"

The jungle is more civilized than people think. Emergent morality and "fair play" are instincts even in small mammals like Rats. I have seen this myself (owned around 50 rats)
Dominance through physical power is very unstable. Dictator chimp catches a cold and doesn't feel too well, nr.2 and 3 gang up, castrate and kill him.
If members of a tribe are treated well by the leader, we get a stable solution. History shows, fair play is the formula for "internal peace"

I actually live in the jungle, but i've never had any rats.
Power is not just physical, but that notwithstanding, it is quite the norm in other species to imply physical threat and for older alphas to be overthrown by younger ones
By "LOTJ is the whole of the law", i mean that it is the norm in civilised society to lie and jockey for power and disongenuously use any rule to win in any scenario. I think of workers rights and how most employment law is useless in reality, or in human relationships, how power - as in the ability to make things happen - is what people really mean when they talk about the imagined effects of wealth. Women aren't particularly attracted to wealth, but by its power, and also other forms of power, such a popularity/influence/wit, and skills to solve practical problems or keep income flowing.

You are right, but you missed the most important thing..... Time Scale. Dominance is only viable as a short term strategy. Its very unstable
Young chimp alphas get torn to pieces as well. They just need to fall sick, and the next 2 biggest chimps, maybe 90% his size will end them.
Yes, but these forms of dominance are unstable. Tyrannical systems are always short lived, check any history book.
This is true, but incomplete. Women were presented with 4 mate choices -> Poor & untalented, Rich & untalented, Poor & talented, Rich & talented. All things being equal, they pick the richer mate.
However when forced to choose between a Rich untalented man and a poor talented one, they preferred talent over money.
A guy with talent is more attractive than a useless idiot who got an inheritance.

...potential, literally being a form of power.
Women tend to be rational when it comes to betting on resources of any kind.
On the instability of force, it can stall endure for a while, and some of the most oppressive systems, whether poltical, corporate, or organised crime, can be enduring.

Men evaluate women on physical attributes as proxy for health and fertility. Nobody is 'rational' in this. We are driven by biology.
Some systems like Mafia appear 'appear' oppressive, but are symbiotic with their constituents. For example, during Prohibition, mafia influence was massive as they smuggled alcohol to 'customers', & during Kyoto earthquake, Japanese mafia provided relief long before govt could react.
Every system is a mix of Oppression and Symbiosis. When the balance tilts to Oppression, regime change happens. This was true during the time of Kings, and its true today with democracies.
