Comment on Could we have had Beast Wars in the 60s?
TheMonkeyLord@lemm.ee 11 months agoFor some reason, to me at least, there is a good amount of irony in this. Almost like because the technology and techniques to replicate a convincing moon landing weren’t around they just went there instead lol

Yeah, that’s why I love that fact too. Sending a rocket into space and landing on a tiny ball of rock was literally easier than pretending to do it.
