The fact that the link appeared instantly when you sent the message is suspicious. Something else is going on here. Also I noticed that the link was already included at the start of the recording.
You’re doing something weird. Try to copy the text from here on Lemmy with no link anywhere, paste it in a new message with nothing weird in it and send.

Yeah as I said in the edited paragraph in the beginning; I think what happended is that the link gets copied, even if manually deleted. It then reappears, despite being visually deleted. So what looks like “automatically being inserted”, is actually was there, but hidden
