undefined@lemmy.hogru.ch 4 hours agoI’d rather the real website be linked so I can easily open it in Apple News (which I pay for). And the archive pages have captchas that don’t work on VPN.
But regardless, it shouldn’t be the job of the poster to satisfy everyone’s little requirement: use extensions or whatever is available on your platform. Why is it the job of the person posting to meet your specific preferences?

The actual point was that you should configure your device to open it however you’d like whether that’s opening in Apple News or redirecting to an archive website.
