Can you explain why a government is the only way to keep people in line?
People will continue to be problematic, but we don’t need this one specific structure to deal with it. Imo it’s actually a particular ineffective and often cruel way to go about it.

Having a formal behaviour enforcement structure with codified rules and a supportive scaffolding prevents things like lynch mobs.
